AKAI MPD26 TO TRAKTOR s4 sound?

hey guys!

i'm brand new to this but how do i properly connect the akai mpd26 to the traktor s4 and get sound? i just can't figure this out

You have to add it as a controller in the controller manager, and map functions to it. It doesn't make any sound, it controls your software.

You will not connect it to the S4 hardware, you will connect it to your computer via usb.

Hate to say this, but didn't you know how the mpd26 worked before purchasing?
