got so sick of wow, gave that up a while ago. this game smells exactly the same, but giving it a shot for a friend during beta.

Yeah I got into this Beta as well, I'll be giving it a test. I haven't been gaming at all for awhile now, but this game looks really promising.
The Old Republic is the other one on the "watch" list, but RIFT has the whole fantasy world thing going for it.

I'm in the beta as well. I'm at work, but I managed to create a char on Tearfall this morning before the servers went back down. LOL!
A friend and I will be on tonight checking it out.
