    Quotes from tonecontrol (NL):

    Pioneer DDJ-S1 MIDI controller €1299,-

The Pioneer DDJ-T1, Traktor controller, will be available in 34 days, the Serato controller, PIONEER DDJ-S1, will be available in 83 days.

i really don't think that the Pioneer DDJ-T1 will be a competition for the s4 and the mc-6000, considering that the s4 comes with software for 899€ and the mc-6000's price tag is 749€ without software…

But pioneer caters to the people that want to stick to the CDJ workflow.

I'm guessing this is just what Pioneer is going to need to start off in this MIDI driven era.

"The DDJ-T1 combines the familiarity of TRAKTOR with Pioneer operability to deliver high-level performance. Due for release in mid-February, the DDJ-T1 will retail with a suggested retail price of 1099 euros / £899 including VAT - offering an affordable solution for bedroom or mobile DJs."

after looking at the NI promo video today im guessing this will be optimized for the new traktor which looks essentially like traktor s4 this could compete with the s4. Also on that link it says it comes with a pioneer version of traktor. Whatever that means.
