S4 Flight Case Mods

I would like to see someone put some wheels and an entendable handle onto the case.. that would be quite useful and make the damn flight base easier to get around..

im thinking of drilling a hole in the rail part of the flight case so my mac doesnt accidentally drop off the back if pushed too far

DoubleD thanks for the inspiration! I copied your power inlet mod, but also soldered in a powered usb hub and used one of the ports to power 19 red LEDs. There are 4 on either side of the laptop tray, and the rest are on the bottom lip of the tray so they light up the controller.

i just found out (after making my own mod) that theres a little flip down piece of black metal on the front right of the laptop tray that limits the movement, its very usefull

also, i was inspired by fulbot to put in a light, so i took a trip down to long and mcquade and got some parts to do this:

i put in two female xlr's on each side of the case, left for a light, and right for mic connection.(xlr instead of 1/4) I also hid my mac charger by putting it under (as opposed to topside like before)
