MixTrack Pro and VDJ

I know that the forum generally caters to Traktor, but is there anyway that someone could give me a mapping for the MixTrack Pro for VirtualDJ and a TSI for Traktor??? I primarily use VDJ in the club that I am a resident DJ and I am tired of dragging around my cdj900s. I really want to get into the controller world and show that respectable DJ work can be proven with controllerism. A lot of my fellow DJ friends rag on me for using a controller but I want to prove them wrong! Thanks in advance!

I did a bit of Googling and came across this...

If you have purchased VirtualDJ Pro, please register your serial http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and update to the latest v6.1.1 Pro which has full built-in native support for the MixTrack with working LED's: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Otherwise please wait for an updated v6.1.1 trial to be released http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html or purchase VirtualDJ Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

However, that is only the MixTrack, so you may need to configure the sound card in the sound card options. Which isn't too complicated in VDJ anyway.

well i have a 6.0.1 version of vdj that will not let me update to a newer version because i never had bought the pro one. i just need a mapping for it so it will be quick and easy for me to install. i don't have the money to fork out for VDJ7 which natively supports the mixtrack pro at the moment.

So basically you're using a pirated version of VDJ?

Well, we can't discuss pirated software or anything of the sort on this forum. But if you can't afford VDJ, I would suggest taking a good look at Traktor Pro. It's half price at the moment. http://www.native-instruments.com/#/...j/traktor-pro/

It has a built in mapping for the Mixtrack, and if you're a resident in a club. You should get your money back in a gig or two if they're paying you properly.
