Actually here's the parts so you can do it yourself.

Just hack one end off the chord, and attach the two wires to the two leads on the button.

Hey guys, trying to figure out how to make my footpedal toggle the "shift" button instead of having to use my hands to push three or four buttons to do something. can't quite figure out how i can do this. please help!

After looking around I don't think this is possible in NHL mode.

thats dumb, so whats the point of the foot pedal then? i see ean using it as a "begin loop recording", is that the default or did he remap it somehow?

Yeah, loop recorder is the default. That makes sense if your doing some juggling with FX and stuff you need both hands free. But I would rather have it operate shift. Maybe we'll get that in an update.

I think the differences between latched and unlatched have been covered here but they'll function differently so it's a matter of preference and what you want to map it too. You can holler at us and mention my name for a few dollars off!
