    Default Vci-100 black plate

My vci100 is silver version. Where can I get the black plate? DJTT only has the black overlay and knobs, there is no plate!

how do you mean black 'plate'?

jog wheels? = paint them black

the parts you remove from the controller to stick on the overlay? = you dont need them, all the information is on the overlay.

not sure if you can just buy black ones mate. i think alot of people on the forum have just painted theirs using spray paint. have a look on the search function because i think theres a few threads on it.

i was planning on painting mines this weekend if i can get the firmware upgraded without too much hassel.

I bought vci 100 mixvibe jog wheel plates online. I painted mine black originally but thought it looked tacky, so bought these. The only think I used was the jog wheel plates because I did not need the other plates sence I was using the Special Edition mapping....but thought it was worth 20 dollars anywas.

If I paint my plates, will they lose the conductivity? Can I just use normal spray paint?

I have always though that the paint needed to be some special conductive paint...

You know i tried a metallic foil sticker on my jog wheel and it worked so i posted an idea for DJTT to make metallic jog wheel stickers with the logo on so that people can match the jog wheels to the DJTT overlay. Some people liked the idea.

However i tried another sticker. A guy on eBay sent me a pack of test stickers that were metallicish and they all worked. One looked like carbon fibre and looked cool so im getting a full sheet to cover the jog wheels.

Ill post up when its done but, yeah essentially its easier than painting the damn things and it will come off.

they look as good today as the day i painted them and ive never had any issues with conductivity or responsiveness
