The software is stable, idk know why everybody thinks it is not. I never had a single crash for over 2 years now. No need to advertise its final stable when it always been.

Who cares about the skins???? Those are user created. I wonder how cool a user created Traktor GUI would look like. I bet shitty. Just like the user created content from VDJ.

Never judge a book by the cover. VDJ wont ever get a reputation as good as it deserves, but for me it beats the other 2 big competitors flawlessly.

if i'm honest the vid mixing and ability to have a few more decks is attractive. but i think the novelty would wear off after a while for me.

WI do like the video mixing as well but I prefer Traktor. I would like to have a crack with VDJ 7 though. Just for shits and giggles to see how it works out

right now everyone who enjoys TP´s effects and sync wont enjoy VDJ6. I hope that once 7 is released heads will turn...

@greatmesk - you need to read my post again. I say "people's misconceptions". I say this because this is the perception of the people that I know that have seen/used/heard about it.

These things do need to be addressed because I personally have only ever seen anyone out and about using it once. It was in a ski resort in France. And it kept crashing.

Can't remember what the skin looked like though.

whoops, sorry mate. I have to apologize. I didnt have a good day and didnt really think clear...

I didnt aim my conclusions at you at all, but at the people that suffer the misconceptions, too. I totally understand that most people dont know VDJ, the different versions and builds. Therefore by seeing any old version or crack gives a bad impression. But its totally the same with old traktor versions or cracks, for example.

Of course VDJ has problems, just like any other software that caters to such different setups (soundcards, pcs, controllers etc). Its supposted to work with everything out there, not only a dongle, but it clearly CANT run flawlessly on every system. But with a little bit of research its totally easy to avoid those problems. As said before, i myself run crashfree, but just like traktor or SSL or Deckadance, the forum is filled with problems. But we have to keep in mind that those without problems dont post there
