pLAStiCk: It's the Echo Audiofire 2. It has absolutely awesome sound quality, low latency and plugs in via firewire (and scores extra points for being silver )

And yes, it is tiny, lightweight and has never frozen or bugged me at all. Just plug and go.

It really took some time to get used to them, especially if you are used to Technics 1210's but I am happy with them now, and they fit perfectly into my little setup Ill post some pictures of my production area later (which is left to this hehe)

Editing, cause I got some other persons post?!

Was this due to the Torque difference?

First to the offtopic: Yeah, it was because of the Torque difference. But since I am used to these ones, I really can play on any turntable. I have been eyeballing the 120's though, any experience?

    On topic:

Here is a pic of my current setup:

This is the most minimal studio setup that I have ever had, but I have gone 100% software, no more hardware synths, no more external effects. Mixer and soundcard of course still remains. I could not do all mixing on software (I could, but it takes away the fun a bit hehe)

One day I will get myself a bunch of old analog stuff and toys, but I do not have time for it. Since I became a father, making music has to be easy and on the fly, no time to play around hehehe (And thats what I would do for HOURS and not getting anything done when I had LOADS of hardware)
