Behold the jank-ness!! This is my remix station as of today. Many hours have gone into the extremely resilient Denon X-fader. I have some more gear (2nd TTX1, Mackie 12 channel, Ibanez Bass, Electro-Voice Loudspeakers, Yamaha RX-17, etc.) but it's all in storage..... Oh how I dream of a basement to call my own.... and about a dozen dedicated ground 15A circuits....
^just a suggestion, i would close the tablet and have the whole think inclined versus having the screen backward like that open. that single hinge is notorious for breaking and it is less likely to happen when the screen is closed, screen up or down.
having it inclined will take up less space and allow better circulation as well.
right now the bottom of your laptop is flat against the desk, which doesn't let air flow very well. if the screen was closed and the whole thing was upright, then there is more air flow on either side of it.
My backup/acapella controller. A DJ-Tech iMix. It's a low budget $150 controller, but with a two year warranty and bought in a local store (www.teknikmagasinet.se). Oh, and the Play buttons can emitt a bright blue light that really helps keeping track on which decks are playing (good when juggeling 4 decks simultaneously).

Here's an update to my setup
Added 2 SL1200 mk2s, and a DJM 300 for now. Going to go with a 1000 eventually
