I'd be nice if it had a dedicated VU meter for each channel though

See I'm thinking about getting a nuo when my mixer dies and I've been prefering the 3.0 over the 2.0 largely just for that reason but a 33% increase in price isn't cool

For me it isn't too big of an issue since I only cue one track at once (which I assume most people do anyways), so I just have to remember which channel is actually being cued which shouldn't be too hard. I have actually been delayed from actually setting it up, but I will give you my impressions by the end of today.

Also, these white squares came in the box (along with RCA plugs) and I can't figure out what they are for. They have a thin copper circle inside. Does anyone have any idea what they are?

you got a vu for the cued channel and have a master vu, so everything you need is there . not to forget the 2.0 is a 2+1 channel mixer, no real need for a 3.0 without 3 tt's/cdj's, that thing in the middle is perfect for the sample decks.

Yeah, it's not that big an issue. My current mixer works the same way so I've adapted to it. It's just a feature that I'd really like.

Jumpers to change settings on the mixer?

Here is my brand new studio setup. Set everything up last night after the courier came by about 19 times yesterday.

Custom 2.66GHz/8GB/500GB MacMini w/Logic 9. Still waiting for MOTU soundcard to arrive from friend and the HS80M Yamaha monitors are on back order (4 weeks till a new container arrives in the country). Still waiting on a bunch of stuff for my new Traktor setup. Only got MacBook and Xone:42 (without a power cable ).

Like EQ settings? In what situation would I use these or would I only use them if I REALLY knew what I was doing?

    Thanks!
