Mixing with a high- and lowpass filter isn't anything new really. I have been doing that for a while, but when I started spinning with more than two decks I wanted more control over the sound than a high- and lowpass filter can give you. So yes, the 92 over the DB4 anytime. Also, what can a DB4 do that Traktor/Ableton can't?

Nothing really. Some of the effects are better than the traktor counterparts and that's it. What does the 92 do that that traktor or ableton can't? Silly argument since it's not a piece of kit exclusive to traktor or ableton users.

but i was wondering, do you scratch that much? i've always wondered how the cross fader on the s4 is for scratching2x Midi-Fighters, 1x Technics 1200MK2, Xone 2:02, Traktor Pro 2, Macbook Pro 13', Audio 2, circuit bent Gameboy, aaaaand some poopy Logitech speakerz.

+ is the crossfader replaceable? I'd be worried about wearing it out (if I didn't fucking suck at scratching)

im not a scratcher lol.. i can barely mix on the vinyl at the minute, only just got em lol...i wont be wearing it out i dont think.....
