Just ordered some ortofon concorde DJ S carts too. Got a great price on them. 82.50 for each and they both come with an extra styli and brush in a case.

lol yeah I was talkin about the carts. But I paid about 650 total (about 325 each) for those two TT's. One is in real shit condition cosmetically though the other one looks great. But it's no matter because I am gonna strip 'em and paint 'em anyway.

How did you swing that one? I am assuming you purchased these before they were discontinued.

It's so hard to find a reasonable price on these things now-a-days, I'm honestly happy with what I paid. Can't wait to start really rockin on them. the trackmaster II cart I have on the one right now (came with one deck) sucks and constantly skips. It's worthless.

Got them on ebay actually, local pickup only ftw. A shop just down the road, I went over a couple of days before the auction ended to check them out. They came with a near mint set of Ortofon Concorde DJ S carts and styli as well, I couldn't believe my luck.

It was after the first discontinuation rumour, but before the official one.
