wicked setup

I love my otus, was thiking of getting a x1, do they go well together? I'm wanting a nice mobile setup.

Thanks for the comment. I purchased the X1 last year so it was the first controller i had for Traktor Pro. The Otus was something I always was interesting in but could never find one at a good price. This time around i caught a good price on ebay. Both controllers work well together, I just can't get the X1 to control decks CD, so for now I'm using the X1 for cue points, and Loops decks A&B

The only complaint I have with the Otus is scratching with the jog wheel. To me it feels like there is a delay when trying to scratch.

As i have both the CE and the IE i can only say that the feel is good.
the i prefer using the small faders instead of the rotaries for the efx.

its all metal. I did take off the deckplate to see whats underneath but i there was just another metal casing inside. I did not feel the need in taking that one down as i know that a friend of mine will write a review and strip the contour he has been given.

I'm not extremely enthousiastic about the soundcard in the IE but that one will be just temporarily untill i get the new 10 channel soundcard from NI

i can only say check it in the shops and you will be pleased with the feel of the controller.

Cool, thanks for the feedback! I'm very tempted by the good MIDI message design reloop did and also by the functional layout. It seems like a very nice companion for the S4, mapped to control one track deck and one sample deck + FX. There are so many layers of messages in this thing!
