moved part of my rig to the sound room since I'm getting ready for the IDA germany 2010 championships... I signed up for the show category where you are free to use a DVS and pretty much anything else you want, but to be honest I'm scared shitless because I'm not much of a turntablist. let's see if they confirm my registration... here is my electronic battle weapon, a week of some seriosly complex mapping (and hours of practice) ahead!

If it isn't IDA, you can still own all Latop- and Beatbattles with that rig.

btw. from what I recall only one device is allowed at Laptop-Battles per participant. Did they accept your "APC80" ?

gear isn't everything... I need to use it to the max if I want to win. and I haven't exactly had a lot of time on my hands lately... this combination is for IDA only, turntables and mixers are not allowed at laptopbattles (hence the name). controllers only.

yes, they did. I've been fighting since 2007 to have that stupid rule changed. still, the APC80 is one device (it has two USB cables but it IS one unit ^^) and it fits within the maximum area allowed for gear at laptop- and beatbattles. I will be using it in the german finals next year.

I was sitting around bored the other day so I shot a self portrait. Not really a setup picture although you can see my whole setup in it minus the sound card.

I wish i had a good camera. I have a crappy Sony Cybershot thing and i dunno i can never get good pictures.
My new studio will be up and running next week and i just know the pics will be rubbish. (cry moan whinge)

Whats your setup? VCI 100?
