First let me begin by giving DJ Techtools mad props for thier site! Second, I would like to give props to all of you who have posted pics of your setups, many of the images on this thread gave me ideas for my own workstation, so thanks. Here are some pics of my budget beginner setup, enjoy and look forward to your comments.

The first step was to reinforce my desk with the 2 front poles so the top shelf could hold my speakers.

The next step I need to take is to stash the wires for a cleaner look.

Love my monitors. They looked smaller at Guitar Center lol.

Since I'm pretty new on the forum here, I'll introduce myself in this topic

I'm Frankie, 26 years old & from Belgium (the little dot on the map )

I started DJ'ing in 1999, just with some cd-players that didn't even have pitch control & and an old worn out 6-channel mixer with EQ on the master lol.

I've always played Techno, so after a couple of months I switched to vinyl because it was hard to get the latest releases on cd. I used vinyl for about 9-10 years and eventually I evolved to timecode via Traktor Scratch. That only lasted for about 1,5 years because I didn't play as much as before and the whole setup was just a bit too space-consuming. Now I just have a bunch of midi controllers to control Traktor and I also fiddle around in Ableton, trying to make some tracks. So I also use my setup for that, combined with my Moog & other stuff.
