so you'd need to split the map across 11 leds? well that makes it a pain in the arse.

    so you'd have;
    master output left > D#7 > controller range 0 / 0.09 > midi range 0 /127
    master output left > D7 > controller range 0.1 / 0.18 > midi range 0 /127
    master output left > C#7 > controller range 0.19 / 0.27 > midi range 0 /127
    master output left > C#7 > controller range 0.28 / 0.36 > midi range 0 /127
    etc....
    master output left > F6 > controller range 0.91 / 1 > midi range 0 /127

think the maths is right there.

i can see why no one has bothered yet, lol

Nah, people have tried to map the volume-meters, but I remember reading here a long time ago that it caused lag (or something like that) in Traktor Pro. Maybe Traktor couldn't handle the amount of LEDs back then? Question is: Is it still broken or is it fixed because a lot of updates were made since then...

yeah, that is a lot of simultaneous leds. don't think it would so much be traktor as a system thing as well? is it lag causing traktor to slow down and stutter? or just a lag on the leds?

I think it really caused Traktor to lag/stutter, not just the leds, but don't take me on my words. Don't really think it's a system thing as Itch has the feature and Itch doesn't really require a lot of cpu-power. However, Itch is something totally different with different protocols so comparing isn't really possible.

Guess we'll have to try it out ourselves to be 100% sure.

which is why my first thought jumped to system, as the 300 was built with itch in mind, chances are there's something very different in the way outputs are handled, otherwise the leds would be on one note per side* not 11.

*working on the theory that with the right control chip in place the leds could be lit up based on their place in a chain.

As I said, i find this mapping the best around.

But I miss pitch bend function. As long as I don't use hotcues, could someone explain me how to map buttons CUE3IN/CUE3LOOP (for example) to the pith bend function? I am completely noob with midi mappings UU'

I would be eternaly grateful, as this is the only function I need to use Traktor fully.

Have in mind that any other mappings to this two buttons should be deleted.

    Thanks

I think I can work on the traktor TSI for VCI-300.. I know MIDI ok'ish (I've done some MIDI programming earlier). So I just need to find some extra time

If someone has links to tutorials/howtos about creating Traktor TSI mappings I'd appreciate that.. also is there a 'complete' VCI-300 MIDI table/specification available somewhere?

    Thanks!

Ok, I found Traktor MIDI mapping tutorials from youtube, so that's clear now.

So then: Did anyone assemble a complete list of VCI-300 MIDI notes/commands for all the controls and LEDS?
