Agreed. I think modifiers have the notable advantage of reducing the number of midi notes you have to use. For example, I mapped every loop size one time and then just combine with 4 additional midi messages that select the deck to operate on. That's way fewer notes than separate loop size notes for all 4 decks.

try inverting the command for the button, it worked when my play button was only activating on release
