Stoked to have that problem sorted!
The issue with the load cue is kinda annoying, but not really an issue as long as you expect it.
It still loads where you want it to you just have to drop the active cue before you launch.
Big ups to ToS
Tnx, Fresh just notified me via comments that you've been battling with this problem.
Glad that I could help. This is a bit of a hack, NI should sort this out as it is just a small piece of code. I've tried everything. I even forced CUP to be in "TRIGGER" mode (it behaves as hold or toggle, can't remember) but no avail. Bloody cdj1000 copycats.

Many photons have died to bring you this information.
As a slightly related note... I was creating my Cue Juggle modifier and I was having the problem of hitting the button of it going to Cue/Pause. So I created the Jump to HotCue (Or, in this case you can use Cue) and then selected another modifier to Play/Pause and bound it to the same control. I made it a direct command and set the value to On. Now it just jumps back and plays. :-)
Might help in this also
Sorry, I'm just now getting back to dealing with this. I have question. How do you set a temporary active cue using a midi command?
You use the Loop In/Set Cue command
I dont mean to jump in all late into the thread, I just installed T-Pro on my MB and I was wondering if this is the same as CUE/PLAY on Traktor3? I've been losing my mind trying to map my VCI to PRO. Thanks in advance.
There's Cue/Play which will jump to the last cue you have used (either set a temporary cue or the last hotcue you've used) and only plays on release. You can, though, change that to work on the depress of the button by doing some creative work (Cue Pause + Play Toggle On to the same button).
