With all respect(I'm sure you've done other logos with more thought), this logo can be built in 1 minute, compared to the others. It looks like you could plug in any combo of 4 letters, and the full name below it, and say it's the new logo for some suit wearing company or corporation.

To Me, This New Design Is Rather Bland & Has NOTHING That Is Distinctively Tech DJ.

I'm Not Against Introducing New Designs.
But I Think The Original Winning 'Concept' Should Also Be In This 'Final' List.

I agree, what is the point of voting if the winner does not go to the finals. Here are the 2 concepts side by side, so you can see again what I am talking about. The play pause is still there and the font has a very similar feel. The new one is just more readable and clearer when printed (very important) the icons and graphics are just flavoring on top. The Name is really the logo.

Plus the old one really has a very "Star Wars" feel to it. Retro is cool but we are futuristic, not retro-futuristic. so the new one I thought fit that bill a little bit better. None the less, I see your point. Perhaps it should have been in the vote.

i like the Hard Drive as a turntable idea.. but remember that HDs will be replaced by SSDs (solid state drives) in a year or so.

true, true- thats a good point but that image will be ubiquitous for a long time. Think of the tape cassette.

i personally like the overall style of this one, especially the chrome border. it might be cool to combine the wrench/headphone image from #4 and put it together with #3 somehow.

i hope to not sound like a malcontent when i say - i don't see any of the four proposed logos providing a strong mark. straightaway, i would kick out entries 2 and 4 for the similarities to (my favorite) headphone maker, untrasone (decent mark at that)


i would think that a mark is needed which strives to visually convey the essence of DJTT, without requirement of being so literal and offering the user text to make any sense of it. that said, i don't have any answers or suggested marks myself, so take it as you will.

Ultrasone logo would suck also if it was in this contest, LOL ! ! !
