Exclamation (ask) Vestax vci-100 to Pioneer CDJ-1000

    hi there,
I'm planning to buy a new dj controller like Vestax vci-100
since i'm new into this DJ thing, is it possible to map the key exactly like Pioneer CDJ-1000.

Because many of my friends said that if i'm new to mixing stuff they advise me to try CDJ rather than USB midi controller.
    any suggestions perhaps?

    cheers

The physical layout of the VCI is not the same as a CDJ. Its similar but not the same.

That aside, you can assign any button, knob or fader to whatever commands you like, to make it as similar to a CDJ as possible. That said, why you would want to is not clear. Learning to DJ is not about learning to use a specific piece of hardware, but the concepts required to perform certain techniques, and this is completely aside from what interface you are using.
