Archie I think the question between the two is whether or not you see yourself needing jog wheels to mix, if not I would say go with ddm. One of my buddies has one and he rips a set with just the mixer and a couple other little gadgets without jogs. You'll also save a bunch of money on buying the ddm

I was having a look at the vms4's forum to get the first feedbacks around the unit, for those interested you should have a look too. Makes you think twice.
