I'll have a go at this one as my punishment for jumping the gun on page 1.
Arthur, welcome to the forum.
Your selected controller is in the order loaded. i.e. the computer's keyboard mapping was done first so it is first on the list. Your VCI is still there and is considered as a fully valid input, regardless of where it appears on the controller list.
What IS important though is that when you select the VCI, you now also see it's ports. You MUST set the ports for the VCI from "all ports" to "Vestax PC controller" for both the In and Out. This is what I forgot to do and posted my non-bug on page 1.
For the faders move them through there full sweep (all the way up/over and back) Traktor will "find" them an you should be OK.
The pitch is another subject. DJTT always sets the faders to 8% (like on a 1200 TT). This is a personal preference, so if you want more, you have to dig into the TSI. Its easy, after selecting your VCI in the device menu, scroll down to the first "Tempo" (there will be 4 together, 1 for each deck). Click on the first "Tempo", you will see at the very bottom "Rotary Sensitivity", it is set to 40%. Increase this to whatever suits you pitch needs (100% will get you 50% increase/decrease range), if you need more then click on the left menu and at the top you will see "Pitch" change this value to 100% and go back and adjust the "Tempo" in the mapping. DO NOT forget to change the "Tempo" % for all 4 decks, you well get really screwed up otherwise!
Clear as mud?
Happy mixing, Phil.
