The original post was about splitting one output.

Im sensing crosswires in this thread.

Hands up whos talking splitting one output !!!

Now hands up whos talking using 2 soundcards!!!

    Hmm, i need a recount.

yea man. I'm talking about splitting one output. I'm using an old ass business dell that I got because I could stuff it with ram, any soundcard and everything is easily repairable- and it works great. But yea, one output, DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A MAC... Using a simple headphone splitter. It's great for dicking around and even house parties and such... gonna need a new NI, for anything serious though.

Yeah... to be honest when i first got Traktor i was just dicking about with a laptop so i just split the output from the headphone output. Sure it was mono but it meant i could split the channels to an external Mixer just so i could use the software.

Its a basic solution for guys who are starting out.

Or for clumsy guys who tend to go through soundcards like a muthafucka.

So this definitely fucks up internal recording, right? Considering it would only be recording one channel, right? Or if mono is checked, it records the mono output...

kinda off topic but did you end up sourcing the knobs? i don't see how they can be so expensive, it's just a piece of molded plastic.. I can't find those yellow fluorescent knobs anywhere

Im trying to source some VCI knobs as well.
The store is out of stock until DJTTs produce their own knobs and the only other place is selling them at 70euros inc shipping to UK which is a fucking crime.

I want some white ones. Ive searching a LOT.
