the 1st cable to on the left when you have the board facing up is the ground cable.
the 2nd cable goes to button 1
the 3rd cable to button 2
the 4th cable to button 3
the 5th cable to button 4

I got sick of having my VCI-100 in peices so i am wiring up my arcade buttons at the moment, the wiring i just said was just from looking at the circuit board but i am pretty confident that is correct.

    Default right wires

Connect wires number 1 red x 4 to the diode part (-) and wires (+) 1-2-3-4 to the button

Thanks Bento - Almost ready for my Arcade mod. I have already the part number of the buttons, I need to search the threads for the diodes part number so I can order them.

Once Midifidler's layout is ready.. I am set!

You don't really need anything special with the diodes, just got your local electronics shop and get some standard low voltage ones.

Don`t want to open new topic, just to ask EXACTLY which pushbuttons to buy (I think from reading posts that this site is best http://www.lizardlickamusements.com/...uttons.shtml)?
And can someone send me "blueprints" for cutting in dxf or whatever format.
What do you think of ordering 16 buttons just in case or less? I am now able to order them and who knows when will be another chance!
    Thanks

mail: mekon_ca@yahoo.co.uk and I am not from UK .
