    Default DJM 800 Mapping

    Hello DJTT

Anyone have a DJM 800 mapping

    looking for maybe:

    Channel 1 & 2 - for my cdjs
Channel 3 & 4 - Traktor Scratch Pro (use eqs for effects, and faderstart to trigger anything simple)

not a really creative mapping but i would love any ideas or any .tsi files

okay channel 3 & 4 are the midi area

channel 3 eq's are all for FX 1 (parameters)
channel 4 eq's are all for FX 2 (parameters)

after clicking the cue button twice
channel 3 eq's are all for FX 1 (effect select)
channel 4 eq's are all for FX 2 (effect select)
-> click cue twice again to get back to parameter

channel 4 gain or trim is to zoom in on the deck
channel 3 gain is to start a recording and gain level for the recording

crossfader are (bottom right hand to the left of the wet/dry on the actual mixer) looks something like this | |-| | and it has the different curve features.....that is to go full screen

above that is the channel fader to the left of time control on the actual mixer... that is to change layout (4 deck , 2 deck etc.)

booth monitor is to change the view of the track from small to large

fader start 1 - turn on fx 1 (mixer inside traktor)
fader start 2 - turn on fx 2 (mixer inside traktor)
fader start 3 & 4 I forgot what they do but again all of these assignments should be in the comment box while in the midi mapping section in the preferences

and other questions or if you need clarification on something let me know and i will be glad to help

What would I need to use this mapping with my 800 and a audio dj 4?

needa make sure you djm 800 is connected to your computer

mine is connected thru midi cable from my 800 to my audio 8

i think those usb to midi cables might work

Ok cool I have been looking into that all day I always thought I would have to get like a firewire 410 or something greater because that is what I see everyone in the clubs useing. So even tho I have a audio dj 4 I can still use 4 decks 2 external and 2 internal with Traktro pro and my djm 800 by just getting a midi to usb connection going, I think I would have to get a new type of sound card because I dont know how else I would route the sound from traktor to my mixer. unless the usb can do that for me, and do you loose the crush effects in 800 with your mapping?
