Hey I am aware this problem has come up twice in this thread, however I am still unsure how to correct the problem. I have been using Vestax Spin with DJay on my MAC for some time now, however I am a complete newbie with Traktor (Version 1.2.4)
Once I have imported the .TSI file I immediately change my Audio Setup to 'SPIN (4in, 4 out)'
Next, I select 'Output Routing' -> Highlight INTERNAL
Output Monitor is set to:
L - 1: Back Center
R - 2: Side Left
Output Master is set to:
L - 3: Top Front Left
R - 4: Top Front Center
I have played around with different settings for some time now, however I am only able to feed sound through my headphones using these settings. You mention to set monitoring to channels 3 and 4, which I assume is 'Output Monitoring' - However even when i rotate the above options, i only am able to produce sound through my headphones, and never through the speakers!
How do I go about sending the sound through both my laptop/speakers and also the headphones?
I appreciate any help given !

I think that might be backwards. I don't have traktor fired up ATM, but I believe it's:

On another note: Anyone working on making the LEDs light up, so you know what mode you're working in?
back when i had my spin, i tried to map the LED's to the automix (for FX mode) and get the two VU meters working, but even when it was just the automix --- the spin would still lock up on me.
someone in another thread mentioned something about mapping a "resend midi data" command on another midi controller which appearntly unfroze his spin whenever it would freeze up.
might be something to think about if you want that and have the means (i no longer have my spin, but am gonna suggest it to my buddy who i sold it to)

is anybody using the mapping on 1.2.7 on a mac? I'm having no real luck with it. I've also been using the official typhoon mapping, and it seems to work a bit better, but there are a few issues i seem to be having with both-- i don't really understand why an update would break compatibility--
on 1.2.7 oldfashioned's mapping won't let me scratch, the play buttons don't work, and the up/down arrows skip about 4 tracks forward and backward in the loading list-- I've tried shift-needlebutton to switch to scratching mode, but it doesnt seem to be working--
has anyone worked on a general description of all of the functions of the mapping or anything? I've read through the whole topic multiple times, so excuse me if i seem to have missed something, i can be a bit dyslexic at times....
