    Oldfashioned,

Any chance you can get the LEDs for automix and shift to light up to know what part of FX mode you are in

i have a x1 now to do effects but it would be nice to have tactile control of teh filters again and be aware of what mode the device is really in.

thanks man, looking forward to playing with the changes youve made, your map has been fantastic to play with and really extended the life of the spin for me.

Thanx Oldfashioned, I just bought a Spin today, dowloaded your tsi on my mac with Traktor 1.2.4, and everything works perfectly. U rule man !

Btw, I've parsed all the messages and I've seen some demands to have an indication of which mode (FX/no FX through AUTOMIX button) the controller is in.

After some tests with the FX mode, I agree with that. Would be very useful to have a way to know which mode is activated..

I will try to digg in the TRAKTOR user manual to see if it's feasible, but mapping MIDI controls seems to be quite complex. If anyone knows how to do that or can provide an updated tsi, I would be very thankful.

    Have fun you all !

Hi there, the mappings great, but could someone tell me how I set up my soundcard? Because right now I can only select the sound card from my PC, but that way I can't PFL with the headphones...

    PM or reply please

    kazzual,

read back through the thread a bit. if youre using the spin you gotta set the audio setup from built in soundcard (4 in 2 out) to spin (4 in 4 out) then go to the output routings (master out -> channel 3/4) and precue ( channel 1/2)

also make sure your mic FX knob is rotated to the left for single precue (headphone button on spin) all the way to the right is previewing the settings on the mixer

    hope this helped.

Hey, thanks mate, it worked perfectly!

But I still have another question,
I'm used to spinning with vinyl, and now with the vestax the jog feels a bit too unrealistic, because when you spin the jog, it goes through your track pretty fast... Is it possible to adjust this in the mapping and get this a bit less sensitive?

    Thanks!

i personally dont scratch with em, and i seek through tracks with my x1

but theres two little sensitivity buttons in the back you could play with to see if that helps. and turning the settings within traktor to scratch mode

    hi mate,

The sensitivity rotaries only change the sensitivity of touching the jog... Not the sensitivity of scrolling through the track...

How do you think I could change this in the mapping?
