For what the unit is I think that's a reasonable "quality" price. It's just a small modular gadget.

Does anyone know how the new version is? It looks pretty neat but I have no idea how well built it is.

All of this mentioning of Behringer warranty.. this is what i have to say.
Behringer are pretty "stand up" here in Aus. I had to send a couple of BCR2000's back to them and they replaced them twice and reimbursed me for the shipping cost to return it to them.
A lot of manufactures would not cover your postage cost's.
DJ'n since 02', Performing since 06', CD's - Timecode - Full Digital - Digital and External Hardware Experience
yeah k2 could also be the ticket for small house parties as it's got a built in SC too.
I almost envision a 2 deck mapping with the outside channels as pitch faders and the pots above that as fx and the inside channels as regular decks with eq
Then map the buttons below like the X1 buttons.
Any idea yet when they gonna release?
CLUB OF JACKS - RELEASES >>TRAXSOURCE
Club of Jacks are a London based House & Garage production / DJ duo with releases on a number of underground labels including Plastik People Recordings, Blockhead Recordings, Hi Energy!, Pocket Jacks Trax, Soul Revolution Records and their own Club of Jacks imprint.
some german stores changed the release date to may
@Sublim&All, numark hasn't been known for quality lately either, so the ns7-while a great idea-shouldn't be the benchmark for gear.
@MaxOne, x1s feel damn good compared to most other controllers. I'll agree with you that the mm-1 looks exciting for just those circumstances, but I'd really like to see one made by a manufacturer that has shown it can make a mixer that feels like a solid, inspiring piece of gear instead of budget imitations that get the job done but nothing else.
I'd really feel like a spoiled, elitist prick for that except that Vestax, Denon, and NI can all do it for very reasonable prices.
You know, I hope the Beringer products actually rock. Then other manufacturers will have to start thinking about their prices and possibly lowering them to compete. That maybe wishful thinking, but that is the most advantageous situation for us consumers.
