Presumably it's similar to the serato system whereby different colours represent different frequencies, so the kick and snare would indeed be different colours. It's one of the only things I like about serato, along with the parallel waveforms... Call me a fanboy but I'm loving the new developments in Traktor.

Seriously? What did you expect, 16 decks and support for xbox kinekt??

It's not like NI were going to completely reinvent Traktor from the ground up. It has a huge fan base to which they want to sell the new product, so changing everything was never on the cards. What they've done is add features which have been requested (sample decks aren't so exciting any more since the S4 has been around for a while but they're a big addition, and coloured waveforms are something that loads of people on here and the NI forums have been asking for) and make refinements to popular existing features.

I'll be buying it.

There are 4 sets of print visible on the front of the soundcard, one says 'Main' in and out, the other 'MIDI' in and out. The other sets of print are obscured. There is room for another set too.

There are 5 sets of print visible on the back of the soundcard, 'A' to 'D' in and out. The other set is obscured.

This will probably not be a free update, why else would they have had all of Traktor at 50% off for all of December? To make a lot of people then pay for this upgrade of course.

im still waiting for video mixing...just saying. Digg the waveforms, sample decks, visual jog wheels, and the tank they call the TA-10. Sounds like a Russian Tank, wait i was wrong!
