Midi Fighter Deckalized Mapping

Hi folks,
whenever I try to unzip the MF_Deckalized zip files, I am unable to get to the TSI file. Winzip gives me an error message (invalid zip file). Windows throws a similar error. PKzip unzips the file, but the content isn't a TSI file.
I have tried on several PC's and have rebooted a few times.
Anyone have the same problem?

Maybe try http://www.7-zip.org/. It's free, simple and is what I use to test unzipping everything I upload here.

If you want to control four decks using this mapping is the focus version your only option? I'd love to use 2 MFs with one on A/C and the other on B/D and be able to switch between them when necessary. Is that possible?

I am pretty sure this is possible. If it would be really helpful to you I can look into making a version like this in the near future. I just need to take a quick look at my deckalized mapping notes.

so i uploaded the deckalized tsi into traktor and it didnt do anything. not only that it deleted all of my other midi mapping and settings. any ideas as to why?

Check your In/Out ports and make sure they are set to your Midi Fighter. As for deleting the other mappings, in the future if you want to simply add a mapping and keep your others use the "Add..." button under the Device listbox and select "Import" from there instead of using the large "Import" button on the bottom left of the Controller Manager.

I'm going to take a closer look at this in the next few days but let us know if Systemattik is correct and it's loading the wrong effect. Some people have reported this issue and it can generally be fixed by reloading the tsi. For some reason, Traktor often doesn't load the effect settings properly on the first import and it requires a second import.

Otherwise, the issue may be the beatgrid of the track you are trying to sample. The sampler function is highly dependent on this and if the grid is off it will sound strange.

A last thing I would check is the tempo of the master clock (you can see it by clicking on the metronome by FX banks 1/3) while you use the sampler function. The auto clock can float around a bit sometimes and if you try to use the sampler while it's doing this it can sound like the sample is pitch warping.

I have a strong feeling that the mapping is fine but something is going wrong with the Traktor settings or beat grids for those who encounter this issue. Hopefully we can figure this out to avoid this for others in the future.

regarding the beatgrid mapping is fine but maybe something is wrong with my traktor settings.

I also get the feeling that the problem is on my setup and not a general issue.

That's quiet a big change to the config, as you'd need 2 entire free modifiers and I'm sure switching back and forwards would do some odd stuff.

But if your just using one midifighter to bounce between A and B that's an easy change... 1MF between 2 decks easy (using focus and a modifer to make it go A to B, B to A and not through the loop)
2MF's 4 decks... o man that's going to be a bitch.

ive have tried loading the file several times and still every thing works but the loading track part i am using two midi fighters and an external mixer id really love to figure this out to keep me of my mouse lol

Are you using either of the Focus versions? Those do not have loading ability. The Deckalized version has a "load next song in the current playlist" function as the Shift+Sync function. I have verified that this works.

So I finally took a little time to start thinking about how to do this and there is enough modifier space but not enough conditions (why can't I have more than two per entry!) left to do this in the mapping. I'll brainstorm if there's a way around this, but as of now I don't think there is.

So, long story short, it can't be done while maintaining the complete Deckalized mapping. However, it may be possible if I remove some (or maybe a lot of) subfunctions or shift functions. I can look into this if people want.
