today i found out that the fx panel mode modifiers, aren't linked to on or off, but are chained (0) and advanced (1), and the deck mode one is internal (0) and audio through (1).

was that the 3000th post? epic, lol.

anyway, nerd or not, it's handy to know

got the 4 little buttons on the vci set up as 'echo freeze', but it's all run by the same fx bank. was trying to set up that pressing another button doesn't cancel out the first one (turns off fx bank ) and as i only have mod 8 left thought i'd try something else.

More a not-so-subtle reminder than something learned, but you can never please all the people all the time. This week I have seen more than my fair share of people whipping out their e-penis' and have passed my quota (thanks Bento for "e-penis" it put a big smile on my face). This is not a dig at any one person or place, it was a general vibe that just got to me.

I also was reminded that there is a lot of good in all we do here and on the blog. A contributing writer had a much worse week than I did and he was buoyed by some positive feedback he got from us.

So as in most of life, things balance out.

I also learned that some people are only happy when they are critising other peoples attempts (largely succesfull attempts) at creativity.

And that those people are simply not worth the piss that people like Phil should shower on their shoes.

For all the "Typo Terrorists" out there, heres one for you to correct:

This week I learned that my Microwave is a very powerful DJ tool and very scary thing to hardcore close minded Serato people, hence my new sig. I now have timecode Pineapple in my set up through my Microwave.

Please understand I'm not digging at Serato as I use from time to time too but some of the people on their forum.
