    You, sir, are an idiot.

(Either that or you don't search too hard outside the Coors/Miller/Bud Lite end of the market)

Stuff by New Belgium (who do Fat Tire), Russian River, Doghead Fish, Sierra Nevada, Victory, Goose Island a boatload of other microbrews are really very very good.

Josh - you'll have to hook a brother up. I'm staying with friends in Adelaide before I hit Melbourne and one of them works for Coopers so I'm doing the brewery tour and getting show some of the other good bts and bobs

I'm in Melbourne from the 20-24th Feb (hopefully hooking up wth Mr Nice for a gig whilst I'm there...)

    Where's good?

Assuming the Paulaner was their Hefe Weizen, that'd be because Blue Moon is Molson Coors take on that beer (and was originally aimed at the ladies if I'm not mistaken)

If you get a chance try somemore of the original Weizen/Wit styles, Franziskaner/Erdinger/Weihenstaphen Wiesse beers, or Hoegaarden for a Belgian Wit

I also love me some DC Brau. Brewed by two top DC Djs

The first brewery in DC since the prohibition was sacked!

I still need to hit up the brewery for the tour.

Diggin blue moon lately but it's no surprise since I like all the Weizen/Wits I've tried. Hoegaarden is good stuff; there was a strip club called Star Garden in LA that had it on tap perhaps for all too obvious reasons. Just had Maui Coconut Porter and it was very nice. There's a craft beer renaissance going on in the US as far as I can tell; seems everywhere I go there is a huge list of delicious stuff I've never heard of available. Had some Allagash and Chimay earlier today (the Allagash was black and bitter like Guinness, the Chimay was a white ale).
