Thinking about send my new track of for professional mastering, got some questions

Thanks for the tip, will try do so without loosing dynamics. I'm kinda struggling with what drops to use also so I've decided to release 2 songs instead of one, will do a rework on the second to make it fit lol. What kind of VSTs do you guys use? I mainly use massive and fabfilter, the rest is done straight out of Ableton. Any crucial things you would recommend?

I have way too many EQs, compressors, and effect VSTs - far too many to list. Fabfilter is great stuff though. Learn with those and Ableton's stuff.

For synths, I use primarily Zebra HZ, Diva, FM8 and Monark along with some Kontakt VIs and external synths/electric pianos. For drums occasionally Ill throw in Battery, but most of the time it's my TR-8 or drum racks with samples.

Keep it simple at first and just learn arrangement and synthesisin general.

If you have Massive, some FF plugs and Massive, you're already off to a huge start. At that point you don't NEED anything, and if you're not sure you should just wait until you have a solid reason for wanting to add to your tools. What you have at your disposal is capable of the highest levels of quality if you put in the time, so the real question is what need are you trying to fill?

I was thinking/hoping that massive and FF should be enough just wasn't sure if I'm missing something that is a ''good to have tool''.

I'm still working on the track and now it do slam me in the face. Mainstream drop or not? I know that I should make the music that I like the most but I still can't let the fact go that in order to get an audience you need to give the audience what they want. Of course you can get a big audience in any genre but there are easier and harder ways to go. In this song It's really about if I should go mainstream progressive drop or go with the one I got now which is not progressive.

You should not make this a chore to tailor to others but more so yourself. Make what you enjoy.
