Both the Hotflush compilation (Back & 4th) and the forthcoming Hessle one (116 and Rising) are full of quality tunes

    Default Rottun Records

Rottun Records has a lot of really good kinda grimey artists.
I really like most of them.

    I may be wrong but

Excision (Owner of Rottun, I believe)
    Datsik
    Downlink
    Liquid Stranger
    Flux Pavillion
    Stenchman
    Mark Instinct
    Terrevita
theres more but those are the more recognizable one.

Digital Mystikz, V.I.V.E.K., Skream, Benga, Coki......that, for me, is the classic sounding stuff. Minimal and dark.

I like a lot of the harder stuff that has those cheesy female R&B vocals because, for me, it harkens back to UK Garage stuff. So Nero, Flux Pavillion, DJ Fresh, etc, in that arena.

I think my favorite dubstep album, front to back, has been "The Origin" by The Widdler. Great album, way underappreciated. Check my mixcloud (username is knightsoftheround) for a 25 minute mix of tracks off of this album.

I think my favorite label for dubstep, right now, is probably Deep Medi. I like the darker, less in your face stuff....
