did it myself, cost 2 sheets of a4 paper, some printer ink, some double sided tape and some clear sticky vinyl, about £5 in all.

the faceplates are longer than the paper though, so once i'd sorted it on pc screen, i had to cut the design in half and print both parts on one sheet and line them up, did this for top and bottom plates.

however i'm sure there's companies out there that will do the printing/cutting for people, maybe the same ones that do one off car graphics? as they won't have some kind of bulk purchase policy.

This is the controller I had built for TSP before I purchased and remapped my APC40 to do the same job. I did always use 4 decks live so the quadrants are all color coded around the board. Also I had my friend, who just so happens to be a machinist, score, make me some brackets that fit the shape of both the back of the axiom and the body of the nanokontrol. Also for portability I added a shoulder starp that you could use to throw this monster its attached so well. As I do not encourage everyone to take apart their gear, this was a pretty simple end result and well worth the time spent. P.S. Leason learned: if you rivet in brackets across the seem of a controller, you can no longer open it without drilling out the rivets. Let me know what you think and keep an eye out for my supper modded APC40 when I get my aluminum parts!!

I used it live for about a year and then like I said in the post acquired an APC40 and have been using that since. This was my first midi attempt though so look out for APC mods coming soon!

So After my great experiance with the above axiomonster I decided to get heavy into midi with ableton at home. I've since lost a fiance, 2 girlfriends and a job. But man, who needs a life when I can just stay down here... Everything in the room, minus the decks for you smartarses out there, are in midi sync with everything else. Oh, and no, a 32" screen a foot away is not overkill. Looking at side by side 42s next. Hope you like!
