What concerns the filesize, don't be fooled what it says. They are indeed small files (< 1kB).

im making my own mapping of the lpd8 and right now i have it where when in pad mode t plays hot cues 1-8 and when on cc pads 1-4 play/pause decks A-D now im trying to get it where when you press program that the pads 1-4 controll which deck that the hot cues are gunna play from can anybody help me out?

@Ragehappy, sounds like you need a macro, 1 control, multiple signals/actions. See manual. Basically you just map everything to one knob or button, however I dont thing your sending while in program select mode. i.e. you have to select program before you can send first signal like deck focus and hot cue 1. Sure that would be sweet if deck focus could be linked to program select on the Akai in one gesture. I've never tried it. Maybe you would need to configure a signal to send while in program select mode, to do that I suppose maybe you would need Akai software or some kinda programming guru. I suspect the module was underdesigned in this aspect and that this will not be possible. try emailing Akai. Also I've read somewhere that you can get MIDI monitering software?? So maybe if you download that you could capture the signal, if any and details about which MIDI note this is. Just a thought.
