How good is the strap length adjuster clip? I have a North Face messenger bag which is brilliant in almost every way except for the fact that when it's loaded up and heavy, the strap just slides through the clip to its longest length.

Very good review S - thank you. Confirms my belief in (most things) DJTT.
@ 'the mods' - IMO this deserves to 'get sticky'.

The adjuster clip is built like a tank. I don't think there will be any issues but only time will tell.

Definitely built like tank, the only thing I'm not too fond about, is how tight my Laptop fits in the compartment. 16inch Asus fit... but damn tight. If I add some cables and extra stuff in... yisssh. Not sure I would do that. But yeah, I like having extra controllers & spare with me.

HOWEVER, I'll do it like so: The S4 + Decksaver (fits nicely btw), extra controllers + wiring + headphone, spare hard-drives & gear in that bag... laptop in another. Just for Safety sake.

    Really nice bag so far.

I would be very interested to see if anyone can get a 17" laptop but I just don't see it happening.

I've also got an Asus Laptop, 16inch, and it's not squeezing in at all. 15 Inch might be the biggest it seems. Little bit peeved, but there is another compartment it can fit into, it's just not ideal. Especially if you've got cables and connectors and such scratching the lappy.

My Asus N61JV here fits, but like I said really tight. Not sure if the material may/will stretch with time.
