THE audio is routed from traktor to THE xone 4 decks: 4 channels trough THE audio8.
THE machines oen audio Goes through THE xone USB audio channel. That comes to 5 decks.

It's pretty dope that it's possible to run 4 Channel + Maschine with the Xone:42

I edited my post as soon as i posted, as I went back a page or 2 and relised D@VE was using an audio 8! I hoped nobody noticed my original question

Indeed. I use THE audio 8 for THE 4 traktor decks.
And THE xone:42 USB for THE maschine.

I also want to get into routing traktors audio into ableton now iv got so many knobs and sliders

Im loving the APC, it has a really nice feel. The sliders feel solid and top quality. The only down side is the endless rotaries seem un-natural to use as EQ's. Thats why Iv added the UC-33E, which isn't everything I expected but it's a cheap alternative until iv got the cash for a proper analogue mixer.
