    You know you're a DJ when you're in a great restaurant with lovely people eating wonderful food, and you're the only one to notice when the background CD returns to the beginning and loops the same 12 tracks... again.

    on the opposite of this thread;

    you know you don't look like a dj when a bar owner looks confused that you have approached about doing a minimal/funky house night, know what your talking about in terms of local area tastes, and how you know this wouldn't work on a friday or saturday so want to do it on thursday as the crowds are different during the week.

    When you hear a tune that you own played elsewhere and not in your normal BPM range and it just doesn't.........sound.........right!!!

    So true! whats worse, with my gf if I let her hear a track she will say she hates it BUT if it turns up on tv/top40 she will like it.
