Default Ridiculous CPU load Traktor pro 2 using 8 controllers

    Sup boys

I was wondering if you got crazy CPU load if you use lots of controllers & mapping files. I run with 8 controllers and shitloads of mapping tsi ofc..

I tried Power Script, turned off wifi and the remaining running softwares. Still getting some cracks from time to time when I tweak too much the controllers

    PC is i5 4200H 2.8GHz

    I'm really considering updating my processor to a i7 6000+H 3.x GHz 6 cores

    Will the change be notable?

    Any other tips?

You have probably break your traktor setting file

    User/Documents/Traktor/Traktor Settings.tsi

Backup this file and then delete it. Now open Traktor and configure it again.
Your CPU is good for Traktor and more than 4 cores would be overkill. Just make sure to optimize Windows for audio tasks.

Hehe yes I use Livid CNTRL:R, MF3D, MFtwister, 2x launchpad, launchkey25, launchcontrol & launchcontrol XL

I just love having everything in front of my eyes rather than using 1 controller with tons of banks

Stewe I did as you said with the config

When I select ASIO4allV2 in the soundcard Load goes 25-50%

When I play 2 regular decks and 2x full loaded remix decks it goes up to the roof like 80+ red and shit

I checked my task manager, traktor takes 8% of the CPU when heavily used (total memory load 10%), and 22% memory (total memory load 40%)

I'll try to optimize audio task for windows but so far I don't understand the discrepancy between my CPU/Memory more than ok when running traktor and traktor load indicator going craaazy

Hey I did some of the Win optimization it worked like a charm

When I run traktor with heavy duty I reach 50% cpu load instead of 80+

    Thanks a lot Stewe
