Default Traktor S4 Buttons Not Working and Stuck in Demo Mode

    Hi,
I've posted this over at the NI site, but I tend to feel support is kind of lacking over there some times, so I thought I'd pop in over here and see if it's just me.

Ever since those updates were released for Kontrol Keyboard and Maschine Studio about a month ago, ALL of my NI hardware has been going nuts. I've managed to get my Kontrol Keyboard and Maschine Studio working "properly", but my Kontrol S4 has been stuck in demo mode (lights flashing).
I've reinstalled the drivers several times
    tried different PCs
restored to defaults inside of the software.
checked cabling and switched USB ports
    I've tried this http://www.native-instruments.com/e....ed-by-traktor/
    I've tried this http://www.native-instruments.com/e....guide-windows/
nothing seems to be working. and the more I google, the more I find unresolved issues which are either identical or similar. Could someone please shed some light on this please?

    UPDATE:
I've found Some buttons are non-functional in controller editor, they also do not trigger the ctrl LED in Traktor:
    On both deck sections:
    Deck C/D
    Load
    Dry/wet, 1, 2, 3 and Mode
    Loop in/out
    All 4 Sample buttons
    Cue 1, 2, 3 and 4
    Shift, Sync, Cue and Play
    Tempo/Pitch offset buttons
    In the Mixer section:
    Cue A, B, C and D
FX 1 and 2 on all channels
Gain knob's buttons on channels 1-3, but the knobs work
Gain Button on channel 4 triggers some very crazy functionality in Traktor: loads tracks into several decks at once and changes view mode
Snap, Master, Quant, Size, Undo, Rec, Play and Browse
Everything else seems to be working fine, according to controller editor. Anyone ever seen this?

    Default

Sending it in for a replacement's cheaper than buying a new 3rd party deck. Gonna ship it off.
