No surprise really. Your modern dnb dj is served with a big slice of nostalgia.

    Ean designed the s4.

I was the primary designer on the s4. Some tweaks were made to the design after me (adding 2 extra channels) but you would be surprised how nearly all of the details came from my desk. Perhaps NI will finally come out some day and provide some proper credit.

as far as the video goes....

This was an idea from a new guy at our office. It was pitched as a "give the kids something to their parents" so they understand what controllers are about. In hind sight - it was not very "ean like" and prob could have been skipped. I am willing to try just about everything - and not all of it is well received. So, we learn from the mistakes and try to improve each day.

It's interesting to note that all the kids love the video but older djs seem to hate it. As I mentioned before, we have been working really hard on creating some amazing new products for next year and now I will turn back to the blog and great content again. It's been really hard to balance 3 jobs, and still do a great job 100% of the time.

Fair play. It is hard to hit the nail on the head every time and 99% you do. I believe you designed the s4 and look forward to you products in the new year
