Virtual DJ LE question- NEED HELP!

I am probably going to buy a open box numark mixdeck at guitar center, but the virtual dj le software is not in the box. The clerk told me I could download it for free online. My questions are 1: will this work, can i configure the downloaded version to the mixdeck, 2: is it worth downloading? or is there other programs that would work with the mixdeck instead?

Dont bother with VD, you will eventualy feel limited by the software
Buy or find traktor online...

If I understand correctly, you need a license for LE, in order to control the software with any peripheral device. Home edition is full software, but you can't do squat with it other than mouse control. Which is useless, and the only version that can be had for free, outside of a limited time demo.

if you have the serial you can register it then download le from the vdj website, if it has already been registered you can ugrade the mixtrack serial to pro for $150 and register with the new serial you get with pro so you can get the extras.
