The effects on the DB4 make the ones in Traktor sound like turd. I love that mixer.

Actually that headphone jack on the db4 would be terrible for ppl trying to play vinyl which IMO would be a big draw for due to all the effects ppl could use with the db4.

Amen... I pretty much never touched effects before using the DB4. It really allows one to modify a track in a way that sounds like its part of the production (just a different one) rather than the blatant "oh, you slammed the flanger on the build there... why?" kind of sonic destruction found with many software effects.
I think it's set a precedent for DJ effects. It absolutely blows Pioneer's out of the water, and even Traktor's plethora doesn't stand up to it. I really hope there's a general step up in quality in the next round of gear.
