Need Clarification - Sale of S4 mean I have to surrender my Traktor 2 License?

Hello All,

I have decided to sell my kontrol s4 controller.

Will this mean I will lose my Traktor 2 License, sorry if this is a stupid question,

Are the s4 license and free traktor upgrade license seen as 1

or

can i release the s4 license to the buyer and retain my traktor 2 license??

To elaborate the S4 is a package so it comes with software. Technically when you sell the S4 you're supposed to hand over the software with it. I'm not sure there's any real way to enforce this. Plus if there's any S4 updates that may come the buyer might not be able to take advantage of them if they don't have the full install chain going from S4 to T2. This is purely speculation though.

Any piece of NI software that has been upgraded from another earlier version as and "Upgrade Version" is linked.

S4 and the TP2 update have 2 separate Serial numbers but they are both on the same Registration.

You cannot keep TP2 because when S4 is sold and unregistered your TP2 will also be unregistered.

Also... S4 Hardware and software are linked and cannot be sold separately.
