Check out my work!
Vestax VCM-600 (for sale!) - Allen & Heath Xone:62 - Focusrite Saffire LE - Ultimate Ears Triple.Fi 10 Pro - Traktor Pro 2.1 - Ableton Live 8 - MacBook Pro 15"
A bif update since my last setup i posted over here, switched back to CDJ's from Traktor. Now i;m thinking of upgrading to the DB4 in the future to run Ableton alongside the CDJ's. But it's such a lot of money. anyway my setup now :

D@ve, that's gorgeous.
And you don't need the DB4 for Live…in fact, I can't figure out why it'd be an advantage.
A xone 32/42 would be more of an advantage for live no?

Midi/ Control (either) Vestax: VCM-600 Livid: Ohm64 Akai: APC80 Korg: PadKontrol (running through FarmPad) Technics: SL1210mk II x 1 (and regret selling my other so think twice)
DB4's advantage is the built-in audio interface - e.g. 2 channels for the CDJs & 2 channels for Abelton. On a DB4 that'd work out of the box with D@ve's setup. No additional cables, boxes, nothing. Additionally, the CDJs will output over S/PDIF, thus eliminating the (not so good?) CDJ DACs.
I think it's a wise choice!

Exactly what i was thinking, plus the midi clock of the db4 will auto match the tempo of ableton to the cdj's.
Plus thanx for the likes

It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
limitations are the source of creativity.
If you don't practice you don't want it.
