So digging this thread up.
What are you guys actually using for the S4 now that they've been out for a touch?

With the current unavailability of trolley bag's on the market, I experimented to use my current rolling travel bag. And surprisingly, it works great !
24in model from tracker paid 49,99$ CAD :

Inside dimensions are approximately : 60cm x 43cm x 18cm
You can definitely find a similar model at your local shopping mall
Here's some pictures and explanations of what I was able to carry in it.

I have a bunch of cables in the inside pouch. In the bottom of the case : 2 laptop stands. (1 of them is a crane stand for my laptop and the other : Odyssey L-Stand for the Kontrol S4) Unfortunately, the Crane stand bounce too much with the S4 on it, and the L-Stand doesn't. That's sad.
A piece of foam to protect the back of the S4
The controller, fits perfectly and is kept in place with the factory foam.
Some extra protection (Will get a nice piece of foam soon...)

Behringer mx602 mixer
Lower outside pouch : Powerbar, headphones
Upper outside pouch : Earplugs, powersupply (...)
Has you might see, there's still a bit of space inside the bag.
Personally, I preffer to carry my laptop in my usual case, but with a cushioned laptop case, it could be a decent protection for scratches.
Yet, I tried my trolley on my last gig, and i'm pretty satisfied !
A good universal, cheap alternative.
I wouldn't use it on a airplane trip but for local gigs, it's perfect.
Your feedback and ideas are welcome !

I use a luggage bag as well! haha I'm actually in the process of getting very thick foam, (possibly new bag all together to) and covering the insides. I've actually seen tons of hard case bags, I was amazed other djs hadn't thought of this as a cheap, easy, and more portable alternative!
I think i'm going to get the Gator bag and take the wheels off it, and use it as a back pack.

That might be a option as theres not to much i can find.
Im finding bags that will fit but offer no protection what so ever.
Haze if you do that let me know how that works out. Im thinking maybe one of these bags with some good cut foam will work out but after all the work probably cant even fit the laptop in the bag with it.
Next im going to look at the swiss army line of bags some of their rolling ones have backpack like straps such as this one:

Maschine, Abelton live, Massive, Samson studio monitors, Ks4, New truss, revo 4, Chauvet minspots on the way,Traktor pro Thank goodness for just needing the sn#!!),2nd 13" macbook
All fire lost:Signed Vci-100 arcade, akai lpd8,Truss and all lighting, 13" macbook, hercules rmx
^^ that is by far the coolest bag ive seen yet. Its actually really good looking.
Woah... didnt see the price...
I'll be in the States next week. Gonna try to get one of the Gator bags while I'm home. I'm thinking for the price it's our best bet. It's an actual "gear" bag. There's a member (KLH) on the NI forum that has one and says the S4 fits well in it. I'm gonna hit him up for some pics. I just don't like the wheels hanging off the bottom.
But for the price, heck why not. I don't shit else to carry it in.
