    Default Facelift

Gave my VCI 100 SE a small face lift. Painted the screws and jogs and put small DJ TT stickers on the jogs too. Check it out I think it looks nice and tidy.

Just added an Alesis Photon X25. I'm using the sound card in it with good success so far.

Here's my recent setup thanks to great folks here at DJTECHTOOLS, its no really organized asi just hooked some stuff up, but my setup idea is as follows:

    -2xCDJ100 MK2 so i dont loose practice
-2x1210SL MK2 Turntable As have tons of vinyls and even though i can rip them they just sound so much better on the real thing
    -1xXONE62---Yeah it just sounds awesome
    -XONE 1d
    -XONE 2d
    -MBP Unibody Runninh TSP
    -MB white RUnning ABleton
    -Pioneer Headphones
-Audio8 DJ plugged in to traktor, ableton uses 2d soundcard
-M-Audio MidiSport 2x2 Anniversary Edition both controllers are connected to it and then conneted to the MBP and traktor i cna control some parameters of ableton from the 2d also
Yamaha Receiver with vidsonix shelf monitors on stands not pictured
-M-audio midisport uno plugged to MB white from midi out or 2x2 to sync ableton and traktor
I know there probably an easier way of doing all this but i just messed around a bit to see what i came up with it all works nicely though but i imagine i can figure out a way to connect it all better i do like the fact of using midi interfaces on their own and not routing stuff thru the audio8 and all.

    I also have:

    M-audio Oxygen 8 V2
    Behringer BCD3000
    Behringer BCR2000
    UC-33e
ON the way and encouraged by DJTECHTOOLS VCI-100 soon to be modded.
ON THE WAY APC-40 to fully control ableton.

Thanks to everyone here as i owe it to u guys for the info and thus hte setup i couldnt have gotten stuff working without this site, at leats not in a good timeframe.

    Next config:

cdj and tt in case i want to practice non controller mixing
Xone2d and XOne 1d for traktor
APC-40/M-Audio Oxygen 8 V2 for Ableton and reason
SC:Audio8 and Xone 2d all routed to Xone62
    M-audio BX8a monitors
UC33 controlling Video Mixing software(undecided as my new partner is the one who wants to do this)
    BCr2000 COntrolling 3rd ableton laptop
    ipmidi to sync everything

Mobile Setup for beachhouse and small trips:
    VESTAX VCI100(on the way)
    Nanopad and nanoknotrol(already have these)
    AUdio2 DJ(On the way)

I know al this might be overkill but i like having the freedom to tinker with diferent things in different ways and i believe i have accumulated enough gear to have aboth a great home/performance setup as well as a decent compact mobile setup.

    Thanks

Nice setup! After i got the vci, i used the nanopad for hot cues which eliminates all need for me to use cdj-1000s. You'll also love the multi functions of the vci once the se firmware is installed! enjoy!
