this is my setup - cheap and simple - but it's absolutely enough if you have a good traktor setup.

    Pic 1
    Pic 2

    Hardware
    1 x Behringer DDM4000 Mixer
    2 x Technics SL-1200 MK2 Turntables
    1 x Korg nanoKONTROL
1 x Korg nanoPAD (not on the pictures yet)
    1 x M-Audio Oxygen 8 v2
    1 x Sony MDR-V700 Headphones

    Software
    Fruity Loops 8 XXL
    Traktor Pro

With the DDM4000 and the nano's I control Traktor Pro. I also have a Oxygen 8 v2 to produce music

ps.: this is my first post here!

Wow...can you speak to how you have the Handsonic setup in relation to your whole rig there?

Are you using it just as it is? As a midi controller?

    I'm thinking of getting one...

Right now i just route the audio from the Handsonic into the mixer. From there it usually gets looped into MLR V and chopped on the monome.

I sometimes use its midi out to trigger the synths or a preset in reason.

sometimes i just sit in front of the TV with headphones on and play till my hands are numb.

I really like the feel of it, though i haven't been on real congas, hand drums, etc in a while, so i really can't compare it to the 'real thing'... but overall playability to me is damn near spot on... i really notice when i suck, and i do lots of that. :P

bought a second hand pad kontrol, after my initial disappointment that its not completely class compliant midi and theres a bunch of buttons and one awesome endless rotary going to waste - i love it.
